The MECASONIC sound enclosure is a
simple and efficient method of solving excessive noise problems
associated with some ultrasonic applications. It has been designed to
maximize the weld station capacity while maintaining optimum operator
ergonomics.
ERGONOMICS
Easy access to the working area
through an opening of 600 mm on three sides of the machine, the
distance between the operator and the anvil or nest is optimized
depending on the part dimensions.
The concept of the station allows the operator to work from a sitting or standing position.
The generator and controller housings are located under the working
table and are slide mounted for easier access.
The control panel is in front of the operator and remains accessible
even when the enclosure door is shut.
The inside of the sound enclosure is illuminated and a large window
allows the operator to observe the welding cycle.
SAFETY
Efficient reduction of noise levels by using high frequency noise absorbing materials.
Weld cycle initiation by means of dual safety push buttons on the front face of the cabinet.
Complete housing to protect the operator and other people approaching the machine.
Secure switching to ensure correct cycle operation.
FLEXIBILITY
The modularity of the OMEGA III range allows for
a variety of sound enclosure widths to be used and can be adapted to
include sliding fixtures and clamps, automated systems such as rotary
table, linear conveyors, loading and unloading robots, etc...
Several welding heads can be mounted inside a single enclosure.
